Colombia-Venezuela border crisis continues

The current border crisis between Colombia and Venezuela can be traced back to an attack on Venezuelan soldiers last month. The attack was allegedly carried out by Colombian paramilitaries.

Since then, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has declared a state of emergency along the country’s western border, suspending human rights protections and deporting more than 1,000 Colombians.

CCTV’s Michelle Begue filed this report from Bogotá in Colombia.
