As the world watches Europe’s refugee and migrant crisis, Mexico is dealing with a similar crisis with of its own.

A new report released says Mexico’s apprehension of child migrants from three Central American countries is expected increase and surpass U.S. numbers.

It’s a new role for the country in an ongoing crises that has seen thousands of youths fleeing Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador in the last year. But this latest trend may have shocking consequences when it comes to migrant’s rights in the country. CCTV’s Martin Markovits filed this report.

Sometimes schools are transformed from a place of learning to a headquarters for gangs.
