Syria, Ebola top World Health Summit in Berlin

Medical experts gathered in Berlin for the seventh World Health Summit warned that global institutions’ efforts to fight emerging threats are still too weak.

The World Health Organization (WHO) was criticized for its slow response to the Ebola epidemic. The effects of Syria’s refugee crisis on health services is also at the top of the meeting agenda.
