Typhoon Koppu has moved further away from the Philippines but huge pockets of the northern Philippines continue to suffer from floods.

At least 22 people have been killed and while there has been widespread damage as well, some Filipinos have started picking up the pieces from Aurora province.

CCTV’s Barnaby Lo reports.

More details:

  • By Tuesday, the local government had been able to extend help to most of its constituents. People had started cleaning up and rebuilding their homes, though power is still out.
  • In other parts of the northern Philippines, recovery could take longer as residents continue to struggle with massive floods.
