The boom of the collectible car market

Global Business

With a little over two and a half months remaining in 2015, U.S. stock investors are hoping for a banner finish. But there is one alternative investment that has seen accelerated gains, the collectible car market.

During the 2008 financial crisis, the collectible car market was stable when other investments were driving off the cliff. Right now people are looking at collector cars as an alternative asset class that has never been looked at before.

Lance Yudkin, the president and founder of LuxSport Motor Group LLC, suggests that the collector car market is going to be a bubble. However, German and Italian cars that were limited produced will continue to appreciate.

CCTV’s Michelle Makori reports from New York.
