US pressures Palestinian Authority to help stop violence

The U.S. House of Representatives voted to freeze hundreds of millions of dollars in Palestinian aid money in order to pressure Palestinian leaders into helping end the latest cycle of violence between Israelis and Palestinians. Palestinian leaders say the U.S. government is missing the point.

Ending the occupation, they say, is the only way to halt the violence. CCTV America’s Stephanie Freid reports.
