There was a riot targeting Chinese residents of Denver, Colorado in the U.S. back in 1880. It was one of the largest riots to erupt against Chinese immigrants in the American West in the late 19th century.

The Denver attack led in part to a law that banned the immigration of Chinese laborers to the U.S.
