Basejumpers leap from Balinghe Bridge in China's Guizhou Province

Not many would jump off a 370-meter-high (1213 feet) ledge. But for those who do, there is no greater thrill.

Base jumpers from around the world gathered on the Balinghe Bridge in China’s Guizhou Province for the annual tournament.

The competitors launched into a prolonged free fall, before deploying their parachutes just 100-meters (328 feet) from the ground.

The Balinghe Bridge is the highest bridge in the world to host such an event, and has become a premier location for base jumpers.
