In Los Angeles recently, Asian food, of all varieties, has become the “mark of cool” in a city known as the epicenter of trendsetting. It’s a perfect spot for foodies, Andrew and David Fung, known to their fans as “The Fung Bros“, to talk food.

“I would say what we do is we try to offer a very authentic balanced perspective of an Asian American who’s born in America, thoroughly American,” says David.

Raised near Seattle by Chinese immigrant parents, the brothers, and social media personalities, have a passion for food, particularly Asian cuisine, from the ingredients, the cooking process and the taste.

“At this point, I think that we can say that a lot of Americans like Asian food,” explains Andrew.

And, as Full Frame Contributor Sandra Hughes found out, the rising popularity of Asian food is having a cultural impact on a new generation of Asian-Americans.
