Los Angeles Auto Show promotes ‘green’ cars

Hundreds of automakers and other industry related companies are ready to start their engines in Los Angeles for the annual Auto Show, one of the biggest of its kind in the world. It’s a chance for car manufacturers to unveil their latest, greatest vehicles to the public for the first time.

The Los Angeles Auto Show marks the official start of the 2015-2016 North American auto season. The most apparent trend at this year’s show is green car technology.

A majority of car companies at the show feature a green vehicle of some sort which, like BMW’s i8, which claims to break the stereotype that environmentally friendly cars are boring.

Honda unveiled its Hydrogen fuel cell car which runs on hydrogen by taking in oxygen from the air, and through a chemical process, makes electricity to power the car.
