NATO foreign ministers have opened a two-day meeting in Brussels. They are discussing support for Turkey and whether to invite Montenegro to become a member.

Ministers agreed to keep NATO’s 12,000 troops in place until the end of next year, when the organization’s commitment to Afghanistan will be reviewed.
