Epidemiology researcher Kathryn Jacobsen on Africa’s Ebola fight

Ebola is one of the most deadly infectious diseases that the world has ever seen and it’s still an ongoing issue in parts of the world and especially in parts of Africa right now.

One field of study, Epidemiology, is the branch of medicine that deals with the incidence, distribution, and possible control of diseases and other factors relating to health. For more on the continuing efforts to combat Ebola, CCTV America’s Susan Roberts spoke with Kathryn Jacobsen.

Jacobsen is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at George Mason University in the U.S.
