There is a growing demand in the United States for training on how to react to a workplace shooting. It follows last week’s massacre in San Bernardino, California.
Many are now signing-up for self-defense and survival courses in addition to firearms training courses.

CCTV’s Hendrik Sybrandy reports.

As the community of San Bernardino, California grappled with last week’s deadly mass shooting, authorities said health employees received training last year on how to react to a workplace shooting in the very same conference room where the incident took place.

Shootings in the U.S. have prompted civilians to increasingly sign up for something called active shooter training: learning what to do if armed individuals suddenly storm a workplace, a business or even a person’s home.
