Flamenco music and dance are considered an art form. There’s even a special guitar made for the Flamenco.
Spain is credited with being the birthplace of Flamenco. It was reportedly invented by gypsies in the southern part of the country.
Today the dance is performed across the Americas and around the world.
“Americas Now” recently caught up with Flamenco dancers Karen Lugo and Ricardo Moro in Washington, DC at the GALA Hispanic Theatre.
