If you walk on the streets of Beijing, you’ll see young, confident female professionals making up a major portion of the work force.

You can find women in board rooms and universities, but young girls are also being left in villages by their migrant worker parents who take the boys with them to the big cities to pursue their education.

How have the roles of women in China changed over the past 65 years?
