Mine collapse in eastern China traps 19

19 people are still trapped underground after a mine collapsed in China’s eastern Shandong Province. Six others were pulled out by emergency crews, and four others managed to get out on their own.

CCTV’s Roee Ruttenberg reports.

The mine collapsed in Shandong Province late on Friday with more than two dozen people inside. Rescue crews were on the scene quickly.

They pulled several people out alive, but many are still missing and these rescue operations are only just beginning.
