2015 was a year FIFA would soon like to forget. FIFA became the center of a corruption scandal that led to the indictments of 27 officials, including eight former FIFA executive committee members.
The year also saw FIFA President Sepp Blatter and vice-President Michel Platini banned from football for 8 years.
