Germany to toughen sexual assualt laws and ease deportation rules

Germany says it is changing rules to make it easier and faster to deport criminals.

It’s a response to reports that newly-arrived asylum seekers may have been behind hundreds of attacks on women in the city of Cologne on New Year’s Eve.

A few of the cases involved allegations of sexual assault.
