It is the latest in a string of videos released online that feature Muslim militants from the south of the Philippines who are aligning themselves with ISIL.
The Filipino military acknowledges the existence of ISIL sympathizers and followers in the south, but insists they have no direct links to ISIL.

Terror attacks have been carried out in the Philippines, mostly in the south and some in the capital.
Experts say the alarming part is that they could be doing it now under the brand of ISIL, a group that has proven to be more brazen and radical than Al Qaeda.

Authorities have confirmed that two Malaysians carried out recent suicide bombings for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Over the past 18 months, police detained more than 100 suspected Islamic State sympathizers. Supporters and fundraisers have also been detained along with people planning to go to fight, or returning from battle. Some were in the early stages of plotting attacks in Malaysia.

The Malaysian government says it plans to introduce teaching modules in schools to counter the propaganda of extremist groups like the Islamic State.
