US central bank changes tone, keeps rates unchaged

Sounding a note of caution, the U.S. central bank has decided to keep its key interest rate where it is for now.

It’s a change of tone from last month’s rosy outlook, when the Federal Reserve increased rates for the first time in a decade. The global economy’s rocky start to 2016 is weighing heavily on policymakers minds.
