Haiti left without a president as nation crumbles into chaos

Haiti’s President Michel Martelly formally left office, even though there’s no elected successor.

Elections to choose his replacement were cancelled last month amid allegations of fraud. Since then, protests and chaos have consumed the Caribbean nation.
