One of Cuba’s architectural and cultural gems, the neo-baroque Grand Theater in Havana, has reopened to the public following three years of restoration.

CCTV America’s Michael Voss reports from Havana.

The theater is home to Cuba’s National Ballet and has now been renamed after the ballet’s founder and director, Alicia Alonso.

After a three-year gap, crowds of Cuban ballet enthusiasts and tourists are flocking to the newly restored theater to see Cuba’s prestigious National Ballet Company return to its former home.
