Five hottest collectible toys for 2016

CCTV America’s Karina Huber is on the floor of the annual New York Toy Fair, and has spotted the hottest collectible toys for young and old. Here are some collectibles that are likely to fly off the shelves in 2016.

Collectibles are big business. Last year’s top selling toy in the Unite States was “Shopkins 12-pack assortment” where more than 199 million of their characters were sold.

1. MyMini Mixie Q’s

These mini-characters come with swap-able headpieces and outfits.

2. “Batman v Superman” action figures

These action figures will hit stores following the release of “Dawn of Justice” in March.

3. Mega Bloks Kubros

These collectibles are aimed at adults with characters from “Terminator”, “Hell Boy”, and “Halo”.

4. Captain America Civil War figures

These figures will be in stores before movie release in May.

5. Muppets action figures

The return of The Muppets on television has created renewed interest for these iconic characters.
