There’s a neighborhood in Colombia that guerrilla groups and paramilitaries have fought for control over for years. Now it may hold the answer to what happened to 300 missing Colombians. Correspondent Michelle Begue reports from Medellin on a rubbish dump which could contain one of the city’s largest mass graves.

Medellin has done its best to move away from its dark history of violence and world-famous drug lords like Pablo Escobar. But secrets of the past may soon be unearthed. Authorities have begun excavations in an area of the city that could turn out to be the largest urban mass grave in the world.  The equivalent of approximately $250.000 has been allotted for the continuation of the digging efforts.
