Photographer Bego Anton travels the US

Americas Now

This week’s Urban Voice on “Americas Now” is a photographer and filmmaker who believes her camera allows her to enter new and mysterious worlds she would otherwise not be able to access.

Bego Anton was born in Bilbao, Spain. But she crossed the Atlantic Ocean into the United States to work on a project called “Everybody Loves to Cha-Cha-Cha.”  She traveled across the country capturing the relationship between humans and animals, especially man and man’s best friend.

Bego Anton is back in Spain where she continues to study nature. She is also working on her first book.  It’s based on her series, “Dust Under Our Feet,” which focuses on the power of fantasy.

Bego travelled to Iceland for “Dust Under Our Feet” and interviewed residents who claim they can see elves.
