Colombia authorities clamp down on illicit international shipping

According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, 420 million containers move across the world’s oceans every year. While they’re supposed to carry legal goods, they are sometimes used to traffic drugs, arms and even people.

Colombia’s navy says they’re doing their part to stop the trade of illicit substances and drug trafficking through ocean bound containers.
