Maduro threatens to seize idle Venezuela plants, jail owners

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has threatened to seize factories that have closed and to jail the owners. It’s part of a decree extending his emergency powers.

Venezuela is in a deep economic crisis. The opposition blames Maduro, and they are trying to force him out of office.
