Fight to the finish for Clinton and Sanders

Hillary Clinton gave a speech that focused on foreign policy and blasted Donald Trump in the most direct terms yet. But before she faces Trump, she needs to win over voters the California primary next week — where she’s neck and neck with Bernie Sanders.

CCTV America’s Brian Mooar reports.

The former secretary of state made the case that she is the candidate with real-world experience. Clinton argued she, unlike Trump, can be trusted to lead the U.S. in an uncertain world. Clinton contrasted her experience against what she called Trump’s unpredictability and unfitness to lead.

It was a speech Trump knew was coming. In Sacramento, he hit her hard on issues ranging from trade to terror.

However, Sanders is fighting for an upset in California, where he and Clinton are now virtually tied. If Sanders can pull off a big win, he won’t seize the nomination — but he may upend the Democratic National Convention.
