U.S. President Barrack Obama will visit Dallas on Tuesday. A sniper ambushed five police officers there last week.

It was during a rally against police killings of black men across the country.

Church services in Dallas are now focused on healing a city in mourning, and uniting a community on the verge of breaking.

CCTV America’s Hendrik Sybrandy reports.

Sunday means church for many in this part of America. On this Sunday, services at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas, took on special meaning.

Three days after a black sniper killed five white police officers and wounded seven others in nearby Dallas, the community is still reeling.

Tensions between some African-Americans and some police officers are a continuing issue in the U.S. There’s plenty of anger out there.
