As the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly wraps up in New York, who will be the next Secretary General?

The global challenges are daunting – hunger, gender equality and climate change among them. So last year the United Nations laid out what it calls Sustainable Development Goals – or SDG’s – an ambitious 15-year universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Later we’ll talk with two philanthropists joining in that effort. But first – whoever succeeds Ban Ki-Moon as the next UN Secretary-General will inherit those challenges and more.
