The man behind Tesla, and Space-X unveiled his latest dream in Mexico, to begin manned-missions to Mars, perhaps by the year 2024.

But there are some little things that scientists said could make this a little more difficult than Elon Musk lets on.

For example, things like radiation adversely affecting the body muscle and bone density loss, and the technical capability to fly at least 100-people at a time to Mars.

And there’s the issue of funding. Overall, tens of billions of dollars what Musk just doesn’t have.

Musk envisions regular earthlings that being able to purchase a ticket for roughly $200,000.

Critics, while applauding the effort – raise even more questions. NASA has a rover on Mars, so we know what the terrain and weather are like.

Musk told the crowd anyone agreeing to go, must be prepared to die. There are lots of reasons to think this is just a pipedream -including the fact NASA said it will provide technology but no money.
