Libya’s navy says more than 90 people are feared dead following another migrant boat accident in the Mediterranean.

The boat the migrants were travelling in was reportedly damaged shortly after leaving the Libyan coast.

CCTV’s Yasser Hakim reports from Cairo.

While thousands of people are rescued each week – the death toll continues to climb too.

The latest incident took place around 42 kilometers off the Libyan coast. Scores of people are feared drowned after their boat capsized.

Just 29 people out of 126 have been rescued – most of them from Africa. Rescue teams are still searching for more survivors.

Nearly 4000 people have drowned in the Mediterranean this year alone.
