While some Ohio voters came to polls to block Donald Trump, his supporters have brought intense enthusiasm.

As Election Day went on in the crucial swing state of Ohio, voters for Hillary Clinton came to the polls not just to support their candidate, but to block Donald Trump.

CCTV America’s Jim Spellman has more.

Despite a massive get-out-the-vote effort by the Clinton campaign, Trump supporters brought intense enthusiasm to the race.

While across town spirits ran high at a Trump victory party, many of the Donald Trump supporters feel that the polls failed to capture the enthusiasm and the intense anger in the middle of the country towards Washington and what they see as establishment politics.

With Trump’s win, his supporters feel they have been given a voice.

No one here is exactly sure what to expect from a Trump presidency, but they look forward to the coming months.

President-Elect Trump now faces the challenge of making good on his campaign promises, a challenge that will continue long after the parties have ended.
