By most accounts, Donald Trump’s win came as a surprise to all but his millions of supporters. Going into election night, the conventional wisdom had Hillary Clinton winning in a close race.
But political prognosticating is not an exact science. Still most pollsters and political analysts are rarely this far wrong. So what happened?
