In his final official function as U.S. vice president, Joe Biden told those attending the World Economic Forum that globalization needed to be overhauled. He also warned of a fracturing of the current global world order.

Instability, the need for reform and stronger leadership remain recurring themes at the forum a day after China’s President Xi Jinping rejected isolationism and protectionism in favor of greater economic globalization.
