The Two Sessions are where laws are worked out that will affect Chinese citizens.  We asked some Chinese students attending universities in the United States what issues they hope to see addressed.

More than 300,000 Chinese students are studying in the U.S.  Here are a few we talked to going to school in Washington, D.C.

The fifth session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the fifth session of the 12th National People’s Congress (NPC) takes place on March 3 and March 5.  Respectively they are known collectively as the Two Sessions.

The Two Sessions are China’s top legislative and advisory bodies, as well as a major event for many Chinese people.  The issues discussed have a huge impact on their everyday lives.
