One of the best things about Sichuan food is people don’t have to wait for lunch or dinner to eat.

Snack culture is big in Chengdu and there are thousands of places to satisfy appetites, at any hour. But of all the snacks available here this place is famous for one-sweet water noodles.

These noodles are thicker than average-the width made to about that of a human finger ingredients so simple flour and salt.

“Besides Sichuan cuisine, Sichuan is also famous for snacks around the whole country. Firstly, there are various kinds of snacks. All kinds of shapes and flavors. Snacks are not main meals of a day,” food critic Wang “Uncle 9” Shiwu said.

It’s such simple dish just noodles and vinegar. Just deliciously sweet and simple. Far from the Sichuan stereotype of spice and heat. This is pure comfort food-Chengdu style.
