U.S. Vice President Mike Pence warned Pyongyang not to test the strength and resolve of America’s military. Pence delivered that message from Seoul during the first leg of his Asia tour to assure allies of U.S. support in the region.

The DPRK attempted and failed a missile test Sunday during weekend celebrations for the country’s late founder, Kim Il Sung.

But it did not conduct a sixth nuclear test, as some were predicting.

The United States warns the policy of strategic patience is over and that all options are on the table in regard to the DPRK’s military provocations. Meanwhile, China is calling for talks leading to the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
