US visa changes leave hospitality industry short-staffed for summer

With the tight labor market in the United States, employers in the hospitality industry are having a hard time filling some low-skilled jobs this summer season. In past years, they’ve been able to fill the gap by bringing in seasonal workers from other countries on special H-2-B visas. But the U.S. Congress made changes to the visa rules this year.
