Possible new sanctions by the U.S. on Russia may not be implemented as easily as expected.
White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci said it’s likely President Donald Trump will veto legislation passed by Congress in favor of a tougher deal.
The bill has received strong bipartisan support by Congress. On Thursday, the Senate overwhelmingly voted in favor of the bill, backing sanctions on not just Russia, but also Iran and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
