Game Changer Tomas Martini pumps hope through Argentina’s radio waves

Radio has been a popular source for information and entertainment in the Americas since the 1920s. And in Argentina, it’s still a crucial form of communication.

One organization has been amplifying that power, by helping towns assemble their own radio stations to serve their communities. Volunteers teach residents how to create shows, find sponsors to finance equipment and run workshops to train underprivileged kids. Their goal is promote integration and community participation through the airwaves.
