According to the United Nations, more than half of all Syrians have been displaced from their homes since the country’s Civil War began in 2011.

Five million of them have left the country to seek refuge across the world and while some have traveled alone, searching for opportunity and a place to settle far from the conflict, others have traveled with groups, to countries that have pledged support to the displaced.

Argentina and Uruguay are two of those countries. And as their programs to take in refugees are put into place, correspondent Joel Richards reports from Buenos Aires and Montevideo on the challenges of resettlement.
