Kenyan elections are most expensive for country and the continent

Voters in Kenya go to the polls Tuesday to cast ballots in a fiercely contested presidential election. They’ll also select new members of parliament and local representatives.

The balloting is turning out to be the most expensive in the region.

Public and private spending is at an all-time high.
