Brazil takes more active role in financing renewable energies

In Brazil’s northeast, steady and strong winds make the state of Ceara a natural fit for wind power. 

Most renewable energy projects in Brazil are financed by the country’s National Development Bank, and the BRICS New Development Bank is also taking an active role in financing renewable energy.
