The Heat: DPRK tensions, DACA and debt ceiling

The Heat

Trump at the White House

The Trump administration and U.S. allies were challenged once again when the DPRK conducted its most powerful nuclear test yet. The Korean Central News Agency said the hydrogen bomb test ordered by leader Kim Jong-un was a success.

The latest test took place in breach of U.N. sanctions and increased tensions between Pyongyang and Washington.

China has strongly condemned the test and is calling for dialogue.

The Trump administration announces it will cancel a program that protects young undocumented immigrants. And the U.S. Congress is now faced with handling the upcoming budget.
