Santos’ legacy defined in his last year in office

He’s gone from minister of defense to Nobel Peace Prize laureate. And if the peace agreement signed in Colombia holds in time, President Juan Manuel Santos will be remembered as the person who ended an armed confrontation that began in 1964.

Santos’ popularity in the last leg of his term is not high, but he knows national reconciliation comes at a high price.

He sat down with correspondent Michelle Begue to discuss the future of his country.
