Thousands of Catalans protest in streets after police repress referendum

Spain’s King Felipe addressed the Catalonia crisis on prime time television, calling the referendum on independence, “outside the law.”

His remarks follow Sunday’s violent clashes between Catalans and central authorities after that vote.

Meanwhile, Catalans continue to protest.
