In El Salvador there’s an annual event you could say is too hot to handle.
At the end of August, residents in the town of Nejapa commemorate a volcano’s impressive eruption hundreds of years ago by throwing flames — sometimes at each other.
They resemble the fireballs, ash and lava that rained down on the village during the blast.
