'Matter of life and death': DPRK says nuclear weapons a needed defense

A senior diplomat from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is describing her country’s need for nuclear weapons as a “matter of life and death.” She made the comments at a nuclear non-proliferation conference in Moscow, and added the United States should be “prepared to co-exist” with the DPRK’S nuclear status.
