President Mugabe, wife under house arrest after military takeover of Zimbabwe

For the first time in over three decades, President Robert Mugabe is not in control of Zimbabwe.

Military leaders have taken over, placing Mugabe and his wife under house arrest.

The Army claims the move is temporary and designed to deescalate political tensions.
